There are more proficient models of regulating the gambling market in the EU


The Association of Gaming Organizers – Rombet will present a European legislative study in order to be able to place Romania in the fiscal context of the EU states.

For this ambitious attempt, ROMBET relied on the following observations:


  • The gambling industry is not regulated by a common set of laws, EU-level; each state has its own laws and regulations, hence the difficulty in obtaining some comparative information concerning the regulations in each country;
  • There are very few data and official information about the gambling industry at the level of EU member states
