How do I become a member?

The Gambling Practice event series re-starts in 2018 with two stages, in Bucharest and Timisoara!


The ROMBET Association continues the series of successful events with a seminar focused on some clarifications on the practice of gambling and debating the current news for 2018. The seminar is complemented by an extremely new and market-driven theme: "The Practice of Online Gambling." The event will be held on February 16th, 2018, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bucharest (Merope Hall) and will be repeated one month later, on March 16th, in Timisoara, at the Continental Hotel.

Mr. Anchidim Zagrean, vice president of ROMBET, will lead the seminar, starting from countless debates with members of the association and from signals coming from all over the country on certain issues that need to be clarified. Regarding the practice of online gambling, Mr. Bogdan Coman, executive director of the association, will make presentation on the licensing and operating phases for this activity.

Mr. Zagrean will start with a broader presentation because, as he says, "The practice of gambling is a very fluid field, and although we rely heavily on mathematical models like in any industry, new situations always appear, and they are complex so they must be interpreted, administered and resolved in accordance with the law. We will try to bring up all the challenges in 2018 and focus on what specific issues gambling has. We are happy to announce that we will replicate this seminar, a month later, in Timişoara, where the proffessional audience was extremely interested in our approach, which reflects not only the spirit of the law but also the business community represented by ROMBET members. "


The Bucharest Seminar will take place at Radisson Blu Hotel, Merope Hall on Friday, February 16th, 2018, starting at 10:00.

In Timisoara, the ROMBET seminar will be held on March 16th, 2018, at Continental Hotel, also at 10 o'clock.
